It’s also easy to access!

We can’t wait to be with you in person, but in the meantime, AhHa!Broadway has fully embraced virtual learning! You can access our specially developed workshops with all devices (tablet, smartphone or computer) through the internet. Our teaching artists have the related experience and technical competence to make our programming completely accessible to you from the comfort of your home!

AhHa!Broadway 1940’s Radio Hour

You will learn about the music, fashion, radio and pop culture of the Fabulous Forties and how it still influences our lives today.

In this online workshop series, you will learn how to collaborate with each other to produce a ‘radio show’. Learning how to use your voice is a fundamental building block of performing. This program focuses on strengthening diction, acting and singing skills! Participants will learn how to shine as a performer even when a physical stage isn’t present.

We will discuss period costumes that participants can easily put together at home from items they already have, and will help create a performance day ensemble to be worn for the virtual performance.

Popular music of the 40’s! (click here to expand for details) 

We will provide lyrics and teach popular songs of the 40’s to be performed the day of our virtual performance. The songs will be a part of the Radio Hour, brought to you by AhHa!Broadway!

AhHa!Broadway’s
Acting For Everyone!

Whether you are a beginner to the stage or have some experience, this class is for anyone who wants to stretch their wings and explore acting and improv! 

During these virtual classes we will introduce you to the basic fundamentals of acting, while developing collaborative skill-building tools to work as a cast, diction, comedic timing and exploring character choices.

We will help you understand and build your character by going through the script together and exploring different acting methods. We will also help you choose a monologue right for you and provide scripts for scene study.

Explore your range while practicing the classic art form of improvisation. Thinking on your feet and stepping out of your comfort zone is a theatre gold mine in developing your acting chops. Fun and educational theatre games will play a big part of the learning experience during this series of fun-filled one-hour sessions.

Music Through The Ages
A program where our Musical Director teaches songs from certain eras, sometimes through theme (one week we did all songs from the 40’s and 50’s with coffee in the title).  Songs are taught and accompanied on the piano/keyboard. Lyric sheets are provided to all participants as we discuss fun facts about the song, composers, performers, lyrics, etc.
(This program is in-person)

Seated Dance & Movement
Participants learn dance steps and arm/hand flourishes (Jazz Hands!) while seated. It is a low-impact dance and exercise class set to music. We can also tailor the playlist to the taste of your members.
(This program can be in-person, virtual or hybrid.)

All deposits and payments are non-refundable two weeks prior to the start date of the related event. Payment is required one month before workshop except as otherwise authorized by AHHA!BROADWAY. In the event that a class/session is cancelled (with or without notice) for reasons beyond AhHa!Broadway’s control, we will make every effort to reschedule the class. If the class/session cannot be rescheduled, or an event is entirely cancelled by AHHA!BROADWAY, appropriate refunds or credits will be offered within 30 days of cancellation. Space is limited for each event.
