“Put The FUN
In Your FUNNY!“
COMEDY WORKSHOP
Do you (or your friends and family) think you’re hilarious? Have you ever watched a comedian and thought — “How do they do that?”
Laughter is the best medicine and who doesn’t love to laugh?! This class is for anyone who wants to find their funny bone, freshen up their jokes or polish their comedic timing! Who doesn’t have a funny story about their life? (click here to expand for details)
During these virtual classes, we will help you develop your comedy skills, writing skills and performance skills while also building our comedy community from the comfort and safety of your own home!
Classes are taught by accomplished pros from the comedy world, including working comedians and other professionals such as writers and comedy club managers. Each series of classes will offer you new ideas and new perspectives from a variety of professional experiences, to help you grow your skill and confidence as a comedian and writer, or just as a funny person. While we will encourage you to stretch and explore your full creativity, comedy sets will be developed as “clean comedy” to provide a safe space for both students and audience, and to nurture your ability to perform in virtually any environment.
We can’t wait to help you find your “funny”, build your set, choose material and try out new jokes during this series of fun-filled 90-Minute sessions. This program culminates in a virtual comedy night for friends and family via Zoom online!
“You don’t need any comedy background. Every week we worked towards a 5-minute set. At the end of the 5 weeks, bam! You have a set!” – Actual Student
