Since January 1st, we have:

Enabled better access to online learning and arts programming by providing technology support to students from 5 schools in Queens, NY, thanks to a fully funded crowdfunding campaign for our initial launch of the “1,000 Kids” initiative
Developed and launched a live musical theatre initiative to promote kindness, including live audience performances in multiple NYC boroughs — the beginnings of what we are working to grow into a much larger program

Provided our second annual 2-week in-person musical theatre camp, with a performance of “Fame Jr.”, with more than half the participating students (all talented and motivated) receiving necessary financial support to enable their access to the experience. For some, it was their first musical theatre experience. Rounding out the experience was a trip to see “MJ: The Musical” on Broadway along with a workshop with one of the show’s performers.
Expanded our comedy workshops for seniors and veterans, including more performances for senior centers

Added new programming for senior and veteran centers for movement and performing arts
Launched a new series of highly affordable (or free) 1-day and 3-day summer workshops for children in dance, acting, and singing to “up their game”

Provided in-school musical theatre programming to more than 180 children
Dramatically grown the awareness of AhHa!Broadway in the news media and in social media

Forged productive relationships with several community leaders, senators, council members, and assembly members
Grown our teaching artist team
